Downtown Sertoma Club of Chattanooga Charity Golf Tournament
SERTOMA
is a contraction of the motto “SERVICE TO MANKIND” which is the calling of
all Sertoman’s throughout the world. The
International Organization boasts some 30,000 members in a large number of
countries. The Downtown Sertoma
Chapter was chartered in 1951, and has made the Speech & Hearing Center its
main charity of choice. In the
past, the club has provided equipment, a mobile van for site testing, the Speech
and Hearing Services for children less fortunate, and a hearing aid bank for the
elderly citizens who are financially unable to purchase hearing aids.
The
Chattanooga Downtown Sertoma Club has been conducting a Charity Golf Tournament
to benefit The Speech and Hearing Center’s Pre-School Program for Hearing
Impaired Children (Achieve Center) since 1981.
There
are various levels of sponsorships. In
addition to a sponsorship, we would be very delighted if you could see your way
to play in this event and possibly bring along other players.
We have several options of sponsorship of which some levels have
provisions to include players. Beverages,
sandwiches, snacks and door prizes are provided to all players at no charge.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and willingness to sponsor
this very worthwhile charity event.
Tournament proceeds are donated to The Speech & Hearing Center. These proceeds help the Center provide schooling for more than 20 children each year. Help make a difference in the lives of others. Your participation and support in this event for those less fortunate is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you!
